Tai Ji Quan is the Movement Art of Unifying with the Ultimate. This Art is a language built on the fundamental principles of Dao. As a language, it unfurls from basic building constituents, fused to make up units, linked in sequences, that are connected in the entire forms. The form is a poem made of phrases that contain words that are made of letters. As any language, one first needs to master the basic constituents before being able to write poetry, like a child first learns to draw letters through countless repetitions. The language of Tai Ji Quan, resembling the universe, is a fractal art that  expresses the fundamental principles of Dao at every level of expression. The principles influence positively health and spirituality through harmonic resonance.

  • Roots : The foundation is solid, the roots are deep, Humanity is established in Earth.

  • Center : The Cinnabar Field is vibrating and pulsing, while offering stability at the center. The Gate of Life fills with Qi, longevity is at the foundation of spiritual life.

  • Movement : Fluid and harmonious, Qi flows unhindered in the meridians like the clear waters of a mountain stream. The body releases tensions and obstructions and metabolizes the crystallized stressful emotions, it expulses the old to welcome the new. The meridians are strengthened, the joints are supples, the blood flow is full, the fluids irrigate every cell, the entire being is rejuvenated. The crown, third eye, hands and feet receive Qi from Nature and communicate with Heaven and Earth.

  • Unity : Yin-Yang, Heaven-Earth, emptiness-fullness, inhaling-exhaling, opening-closing, giving-receiving - through the principles of mutation, one unifies with the ten thousand beings. Qi is everywhere and everything is Qi.

  • Spirit : Circles within circles express the fractal nature of the universe, the Spirit communes with the cosmos. Stillness within movement, the brightness and innate wisdom of Original Nature is revealed and illuminates the spirit.

ONLINE, starting 26 October 2024 :

During 7 weeks, 7 videos will guide you step by step into the practice of the movements of Wudang Heavenly Horse Tai Ji Quan. Each week one new movement will be detailed. You have one week to practice, repeat, integrate.
The 7th video will introduce all the transitions to train the beginning of the 36 movements form. You have 4 weeks to work on the transitions, memorize and polish the mini-form.

  • 1 one-hour video - Warm-ups, steps, gestures, complete movement, meditation:
    On Saturday morning, receive the new video in your mailbox, watch and practice at your own time again, and again, and again. Each video will be available until the end of the segment (03 January 2025).

  • 1 live Question&Answer session - a special moment to refine the details, get individual corrections and suggestions, and explore the meaning of the practice within the context of Daoism :
    On Wednesday at 2pm CET / 8am EDT, the replay will be available right after the session. You can send your questions by email if you are not available for the live session.

The contents are conceived as a companion to your practice, especially to train the movements with precision through repetition. They are accessible to the beginner, and will also be useful to the practitioner who already knows the form so as to deepen the understanding of the movements, perfect the technique, review what has been learned and progress.

Segment 2 of the online course will be offered in the continuity, starting on 04th January until end of March 2025.
